Non-Latex AND Non-Lubricated Contraceptives?
That basically leaves you with diaphragms, Lea's Shield (both of which require spermicide), the sponge, natural family planning, withdrawal (which, it should be noted, has a fairly high failure rate) and non-pill hormonal contraceptives. You said pills were off-limits, but do you mean all HBC? If not, there are rings and patches, which are as effective as pills. There's the shot, but that's incredibly bad for you, often leads to potentially irreversible bone density loss with long-term use (more than 2 years), and may cause fertility issues later on... I would suggest at this point that you combine two or three of the above methods. If she's not allergic to spermicide, then maybe have a diaphragm or cervical cap fitted, withdraw, and chart her fertility (NOT with the rhythm method)? None of these options (apart from the HBC options) are incredibly/reliably effective on their own, so using more than one is probably a good idea... You could use the sponge and withdrawal? Or maybe natural family planning and Lea's Shield? This is something that should really be discussed with a medical professional... Have you tried going in for a consult with a gynecologist together?
