Is my 2 day old baby bored?

We just came home from the hospital today and after having a rough couple of first days my baby seems really calm and content. He just ate and got his diaper changed. Now he is wide awake and just sitting in his bouncer. I feel bad because I feel like I should be constantly touching him or playing with him...He is just looking around while sitting in his bouncer. Is this normal?
