What could be the reason for this?

i have been sick for the almost 4 months. I began to vomit phlegm about a month ago, it usually happens in the morning or at night and i can stay up very later just coughing and vomiting until it goes away. My cough is usually dry before i began vomiting phlegm. From all the coughing and vomiting my left side from my waist up to my arm pit aches. It hurts to turn on any side, cough, vomit and sometimes breathe. I thought i just had a cold but it has not gone away what else may i have ?
