How do i change the settings so that i get confirmation of receipt when someone opens an email i've sent?

i've sent off several resumes, without hearing back at all. i don't want to pester them, so i just want to receive confirmation that someone has indeed opened it, i've seen it on other sites, but can't seem to find it on yahoo!, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
