General knox secret armory glitch exit?!?!?

Well, I just got to general knox armoury, and i beat knox, then i did the glitch and ran through like a little school girl collecting my prizes with unlimited time. however, now that i am finished i cant seem to find my way out... is this a glitch where there is no exit if you use the glitch? and have to just save and exit? if not how do i get out? also.. i never blew up the armoury, i just went right to the glitch, so does that screw me on blowing it up? and can i get out?
